Ah, e non manca un pizzico di family drama ovviamente. Purtroppo non sono una fan delle novelle, perchè sono corte e molto veloci, raramente il tutto viene sviluppato bene e purtroppo anche qui c'era questa pecca (esempio, lei torna a NY e in una città grande come quella in due secondi rivede Madox e dopo 10 minuti ci va a letto insieme dopo ovviamente aver sperato di non rivederlo mai più etc etc.), alcune cose non le ho collegate minimamente, non ho capito a fondo perchè abbiano litigato e perchè la madre di Madox abbia cercato di riunirli, e sopratutto come abbia fatto, mishtero. Essendo corta la storia, non si è capito bene per quale motivo lei se ne sia andata quella sera, dopo una serata insieme a Madox, ho solo capito che hanno litigato furiosamente e lei se n'è andata senza più tornare, fino ad ora.
La novella parte da quando Sophie torna a New York dopo essere mancata per 3 anni. Lei è scappata di casa da qualche giorno per colpa delle continue liti con sua madre e il suo patrigno, vive nella sua macchina e viene aggredita da un gruppo di ragazzi, ma Madox fortunatamente è li per aiutarla e lei si fida istantaneamente di lui, tanto da diventare sua amica e poi concedersi a lui e dare inizio ad una storia che va avanti per molti anni, una storia principalmente di sesso, ma che Sophie vorrebbe fosse qualcosa in più perchè da sempre innamorata di lui. Madox once let Sophie walk away, he has grown & change over the years & he goanna make damn sure that he won’t make that mistake again by letting Sophie slip away. ➦Madox is rich, sexy & most of all dominant. But doesn’t not mean she hadn’t thought about him in that time It had been years since Sophie was in New York & just as long since she had seen Madox. ➦ Sophie was offer amazing job at Candor designs as a branding advisor. ღ To say that Sophie & Madox relationship is complicated is putting it mildly….Madox & Sophie has been through so much together & individually.
